Hi
This is my first time on this forum so very exciting, it looks like a really useful site. I am a mum of a two year old and have been making jewellery for the last year but have now decided to try and make this into a business. I have now got a website up and running but would really love some advice as to how it looks, prices etc, if my photos are good enough. Please any advice, good or bad would be really greatly appreciated. My website is www.trinketsbymoonlight.com.
Thank you all,
Heidi

Try the jewellery making home business guide. You can get it free from epbeads.co.uk http://www.epbeads.co.uk/ObtainYourJewelleryMakingHomeBusinessGuide.asp?list=1

Hi Heidi,
I am new too, I have just seen your website and I think it is very clean and professional looking, as well as being functional. The thing with jewellery i always think is to let it do the talking for you... so with a nice clean and simply professional website it keeps the focus on the most important thing the jewellery which is pretty wow.
Hope that helps
I also have a blog as well as my main site and find that this helps to get your ratings up in the search engines.

Hi Heidi
The Website look lovely. As for pricing that is really up to you but if you correctly value what you make then you will not get others to. You know what your costs were and if as a base line you assume you pay yourself AT LEAST min wage per hour you will be able to get some idea of what you need to charge. Lots of considerations. Is it a hobby or a serious business. I opened my shop back in 2007 and love but it is hard work and costs are always going up. You can`t alway compete on price but selling online is hard as people often like to feel and see the beaded items. Make sure your customer service is second to none online or in person. Good luck.
